Staging can improve the first impression your house makes on buyers and it can
help them to envision their family and their belongings in that home.
Surveys show that proper staging reduces the time a house stays on the market, and that
it increases the sale price. The goal of staging is to help buyers see the best of your house, appreciate the size of the
rooms and the potential of the layout, and to see themselves in the house.
Making a house marketable is very different from making
a home personal and lived-in. To make a house appeal to a wide range of buyers, staging is used to redesign the home and make
it look and feel clean, open, and attractive. HOW WE CAN HELP Redesigning the interior of a home to stage
it for sale can be done in many different ways:
*
A walk-though consultation with homeowner for a do-it-yourself staging. We will cover the house
from door to door, and from the curb to the back yard, identifying things that need to be cleaned, removed, or replaced.
* Owner-occupied staging. This works best when the owner will be living in the house while it
is on the market. We help the owner remove items that need to be removed (pre-packed), rearrange existing furniture and accessories,
and identify areas that need to be cleaned, repainted, or otherwise improved.
* Unoccupied home staging.
We identify furniture and accessories that need to be rented or purchased for the house, as well as any cleaning, painting,
or other improvement that remains to be done.
